On the way to pick up my sisters from high school I remember seeing the local national guard post had put up temporary barriers, barb wire, and armed guards at the entrance. I'll never forget right after 9/11, there were several photos being circulated of jumpers' bodies. One of which was a 60-yr old or so businessman who hit the ground with his back facing down - his guts shot through his asshole on impact and his pants were down. I never saw that image again, basically they were all removed from the internet somehow.
